Charles Rowe
Charles D. Rowe, 70, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, September 19, 2015 in the Hospice Care Center.
He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He retired from Dupont after 33 years of service, and later retired from General Services and AutoZone.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Cheryl Sheppard Rowe; daughters, Crystal Owens, Cynthia Rowe, and Candace Rowe, all of Chattanooga; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe A. Rowe, Larry (Beverly) Rowe, both of Chattanooga, Terry Harden of Nashville, and Stephen (Valerie) Harden of Jonesboro, GA; sisters, Virginia Wyrick, Barbara Rowe Brooks, and Faye (Steve) King of Chattanooga; aunt, EmmaRee Hughley of Lafayette, AL; sisters-in-law, LaVerne Ross and Maxine (Michael) Sheppard of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Thursday, Sept. 24, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Friday, Sept. 25, at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Samuel R. Jackson as the eulogist. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
