Erlanger Health System is planning to give $400 to each of its employees as a thank you for "an unprecedented year" financially.

The lump sum payment will go to some 3,300 employees and cost over $1.4 million.

Kevin Spiegel, Erlanger CEO, said, "This is a way for management to recognize both part-time and full-time employees for all they added to Erlanger's unprecedented successful year."

The checks will go to employees with the Oct. 2 direct deposit.

Not included are management, physicians or employees who are on probation and one step away from dismissal.
