A joint effort between the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the apprehension of two men charged in connection with an attempted murder over the weekend in East Tennessee.

After obtaining information about the whereabouts of Harold Hutsell and Daniel Farr, along with their intention to surrender to authorities, TBI Agents and deputies and investigators from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office coordinated to ensure the men were brought safely into custody without incident Tuesday at the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

Hutsell and Farr were named in warrants secured by the McMinn County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, charging each with one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of aggravated robbery.

Authorities from McMinn County will transport Hutsell and Farr to the McMinn County Justice Center, where they will be booked on the charges.
