In a press conference Monday afternoon Chief Fred Fletcher had a message for those involved in recent gang violence and shootings in Chattanooga. He says the Chattanooga Police Department is working around the clock and is using every resource to address the recent violence.
He said "This community will not accept this violence. We will help you if you let us. We will stop you if you make us."
