Walton Girls Win DecoTurf Tennis Title; Baylor 4th, GPS 6th In A; Soddy Daisy 3rd In B Division

Soddy Daisy beat Assumption, KY 5-4 , Union City, TN 6-3,  lost to Duncan OK 3-6 in pool play, then beat Morgantown W VA 5-3 for third place (they were the state champions in W VA last year). Olivia Crawley was named to the all tournament team.

Defending Georgia state champion Walton HS went 4-0 and won the 2015 DecoTurf Girls High School Tennis Championship held in Chattanooga this past weekend.

 

Walton claimed the A Division title with a 5-0 win against Pine Crest (Fla.) in the finals Saturday afternoon, while Duncan (Okla.) won the B Division.

Soddy Daisy placed third in the B Division.
