Joseph Sentef, M.D. and his wife Susan Sentef, NP-C, will open Sentef Medical Centers in Cambridge Square this spring. Cambridge Square is a mixed-use community located in Ooltewah, just east of exit 11 on I-75. The community is home to locally owned restaurant and commercial office tenants.
The Sentefs have operated a family practice clinic at 6740 Lee Highway since 2000. The 2,700 square foot space in Cambridge Square will serve as a second location for patients in the greater Ooltewah and Cleveland area.
Sentef Medical Centers will provide services in family medicine, urgent care, hormone replacement, weight loss, women's health, environmental, preventive and occupational medicine, sleep medicine and connective tissue diseases. The Sentefs treat patients from early childhood to senior citizens.
“Our practice has always been patient driven,” said Dr. Sentef. “As a result, we have made it a point to broaden our practice disciplines so we can treat people in terms of their immediate needs as well as making proactive suggestions to better their health in all aspects of their life. We are excited about opening a second location and look forward to being a part of the Cambridge Square community.”
In addition to his medical degree, Dr. Sentef holds a master’s in business administration, and a master’s degree in public health, and is board certified in public and occupational health. He also serves on the Education Committee for the U.S. Department of Transportation. In addition to her board certification as a nurse practitioner, Susan Sentef also holds a master’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in business.
“The Sentef’s have a solid reputation in the greater Chattanooga medical and business community,” said Jim Cheney, marketing director for Cambridge Square. “They have a very progressive practice model and we are pleased that they have chosen Cambridge Square to open a second location.”
