Passengers said they heard a boom, then it appeared their airplane was operating with one engine prior to an emergency landing in Chattanooga on Thursday morning.
Allegiant Air flight 760, that was headed from Orlando, Fla., to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was carrying 156 passengers.
The passengers were shifted to another plane before continuing their journey.

Passengers said the problem became apparent some 35 miles from Chattanooga when the plane was at 32,000 feet.
The crew then calmly landed the beleaguered craft at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.
Airline officials said the plane would be thoroughly checked out and the right engine repaired before going back into service at a later date.
An Allegiant plane came from Las Vegas to take the stranded passengers to Cedar Rapids.
