The new Walmart Neighborhood Market on Hixson Pike will celebrate its grand opening Wednesday with a Grand Opening Celebration from 7:30-8 a.m. and a day of festivities. The new Walmart will bring up to 95 jobs to the community.
The grand opening ceremony will include remarks from City Mayor Andy Berke, Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppiner and Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Membership Sandra Brewer. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the grand opening celebration will continue inside the new Walmart Neighborhood Market with activities and free samples from vendors.
The new Walmart is at 3901 Hixson Pike Suite 181. Brad Walters is the store manager.
