Chattanooga's Gifts That Give Hope Is Dec. 12 At Ross' Landing

In Memory Of Porter Yarbrough

  • Sunday, November 29, 2015

Chattanooga’s Gifts that Give Hope, in memory of Porter Yarbrough, will be held at Ross’ Landing Dec. 12 from 12-4 p.m.

Participants may make a donation to one of the non-profits and will receive a card to give to a loved one telling of the gift that was made to someone in need in their name.

This holiday season Gifts That Give Hope will provide an opportunity for people to practice philanthropy while spending no more than the cost of a gift.

There will be live entertainment from the Chattanooga Girls Choir, Choo Choo Kids and more.  Read 20 will give storybooks to children in the audience while Mrs. Santa does a holiday reading.   Mellow Mushroom’s bake bus will be there and will donate for every slice sold.  Participants may take an “Unselfie" with “Santa Cause” for a $5 donation and also shop for artwork and crafts with proceeds going to the nonprofits.

Gifts may also be purchased online at giftsthatgivehope.org/chattanooga.  The gift card will be mailed to you.

Donations will go to:
Chattanooga Area Food Bank
Chambliss Shelter for Children
Forgotten Child's Fund
Toys for Tots
McKamey Animal Center
Volunteers in Medicine
Chattanooga Room in the Inn
Northside Neighborhood House
Prison Prevention Ministries
