Man's Body Found Day After Wrecked Vehicle Located In Brainerd

A man's body was found in Brainerd on Saturday - a day after his vehicle was found wrecked on North Moore Road.

Police said Lonnie Tucker, 58, apparently got out of his vehicle, crossed the road, then died in nearby woods.

The wreck was in a ditch at a curve of North Moore Road past Brainerd High School.

The accident was around noon on Friday and the body was located on Saturday morning.

An autopsy was being conducted.
