Patricia Ann Powell, 78, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, died on Monday, October 5, 2015 in a local hospital.  

She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. A 1955 graduate of Central High School, Patricia was retired as executive vice president of Personal Banking with First Tennessee Bank. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Anderson Powell, Jr. and her parents, Charles Louis Schroth and Beatrice Ferguson Schroth.

Survivors include her daughter, Jill Powell Stancombe; two sons, James Scott Powell and Charles “Andy” Powell; five grandchildren, Brittany Stancombe, Dustin Powell, Ryan Powell, Alexandrea Powell and Caleb Powell.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at Silverdale Baptist Church with the Reverend Tony Walliser officiating.  Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South. Pallbearers will be Dustin Powell, Ryan Powell, Caleb Powell, Daniel Harjes, Wade Dyar and C.J. Turner.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home and from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. on Thursday at Silverdale Baptist Church.
