Chattanooga Welcomes Staymobile To 2 Local Walmarts

  • Friday, October 16, 2015

A recent report by IBISWorld shows the Cell Phone Repair industry has experienced strong growth over the past decade as smartphone and tablet usage have increased. In the coming years, the rising popularity of expensive but fragile smartphones will encourage consumers to repair their smartphones rather than replace. To better serve this demand, Staymobile, a service company providing electronic repair, accessories and protection for businesses and consumers, announces the opening of its new stores inside two Chattanooga Walmart locations.

“We’ve listened to our customers and what they want is a convenient and speedy repair option along with the opportunity to protect their device from future damage,” said Chuck Morrison, president and CMO of Staymobile.

“With our new locations inside the Chattanooga-area Walmarts, we can take customer service, convenience and peace-of-mind to a whole new level. The opening will cement ourselves as the most affordable and reliable place in town for device repair.”

Using the store-within-a-store model, Staymobile will offer customers the speedy, reliable repair service for which the company is known. Consumers will be able to leave their damaged or broken cell phones and tablets with Staymobile technicians and continue to shop while repair service is completed. The Chattanooga openings are two of 17 Staymobile locations opening in Walmart stores across the country this month.

According to a recent report by the Pew Research Center, nearly two-thirds of Americans own a smartphone. “For many, hand-held digital devices are an entry into the online world. When this technology fails them, there is a level of anxiety that cannot be eased by anything other than connectivity,” said Brian Hutto, CEO of Staymobile. “We will provide the opportunity for our customers and local residents to stay connected no matter what life throws their way.”

The new stores are at 501 Signal Mountain Road and 490 Greenway View Drive.

Operating hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
