Yoga For A Cure Set For Monday

  • Thursday, October 15, 2015

Yoga For a Cure will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, on the lawn in front of Bliss Day Spa at 2376 North Ocoee St.

Organizers said, "Celebrate life, honor those affected by breast cancer, make new friends and create lasting memories. Please wear a pink T-shirt and bring a yoga mat or towel. No yoga experience is necessary."

There is no fee for the class; however, a $5 donation is suggested. All proceeds will be donated to the Evelyn Lauder Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

In 1992, Lauder and Alexandra Penney, then editor of SELF, created the signature pink ribbon, which has become the international symbol of breast cancer awareness. In that same year, she launched The Estée Lauder Companies Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.
