Body Found On Maclellan Island Is That Of Missing UTC Graduate Student; No Signs Of Foul Play Found

A body discovered early Sunday morning on Maclellan Island has been identified as that of missing UTC student Ali Ali, 24.

Police said there was no sign of foul play.

The engineering graduate student from the Sudan was last seen on Monday.

He was wearing a blue jacket, red Converse shoes, and black glasses.

At 2:27 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to the island across from Bluff View on a person found call.

A person was found deceased on the shore.
