2 Separate Shootings Happen Overnight In Chattanooga

Two separate shootings happened overnight and the suspects are being sought.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. Chattanooga Police officers responded to 7310 Standifer Gap Road on a shooting call. On arrival, patrol officers located Brandon Langford, 33, with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to Erlanger with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The only suspect information at this time is two black males were involved in what may have been an attempted home invasion/robbery of the victim.

This investigation in ongoing.

A man was also shot early Saturday morning. Chattanooga Police officers were dispatched to the area of 3900 Jasmine Street on a call of a person shot. On arrival, the victim, Clarence Roberts, 21, was located at 3920 Jasmine Street suffering from several gunshot wounds. 

He was transported to Erlanger where he is in critical condition, but was expected to recover.

At this point, no suspects have been identified.
