Chickamauga Park Supt. Cathleen Cook Retiring

After a 33-year career and experience at 12 different parks, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park Superintendent Cathleen J. Cook will be retiring effective April 1.

Superintendent Cook has been the manager at the national military park since 2010.  Her accomplishments include development of an historic road on Moccasin Bend, the acquisition of new lands, the Lookout Mountain General Management Plan amendment and the events surrounding the sesquicentennial of the Campaign for Chattanooga.

After her departure the acting superintendent will be Chief Ranger Todd Roeder.  He has been the chief ranger at Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park since 2008.
