Paper Diamond Plays At Track 29 Jan. 15

  • Friday, December 26, 2014

Colorado raised and Los Angeles-based electronic producer Paper Diamond is gearing up for his 34-date “Rain Drops Tour” this winter that will be stopping in Chattanooga on Thursday, Jan. 15, at Track 29.

Review for Paper Diamond:
From January through March, Paper Diamond will be making it rain on schedule on his national “Rain Drops Tour,” an experience that will feature an entirely custom speaker system by PK Sound along with a brilliantly executed and visually pleasing stage design by Paper Diamond and his crew. The well placed visuals will leave the audience in complete awe and deep thought through underlying messages conveyed through modern day art.  The Rain Drops Experience will include a tailor made set list featuring classic material such as the Levitate LP to Brainfeeder and Mad Decent releases from past, present and future.

The Rain Drops Tour—based on soul, creativity and a community built on music with over a year of planning—sets to redefine what a musical experience really means, not only to the performer but to the fans, the ones who have been supporting a true love for the soulful rhythms and hard hitting bass that electronic music is meant to provide. In conjunction with the tour launch, Paper Diamond will also release the Rain Drops EP in early 2015.

"Electronic Music pushes airwaves to create sounds that make you feel a different way, people complain that EDM doesn’t have soul, I’m bringing the soul,” says Paper Diamond.

For nearly a decade, Paper Diamond (aka Alex B) has been honing his craft of pushing the artistic envelope. He’s performed at Madison Square Garden (supporting Bassnectar), Red Rocks, Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Bonnaroo, Ultra Music Festival, HARD Fest, Lollapalooza, Hangout Music Festival, Governors Ball, Outside Lands and Mad Decent Block Party among many other festival appearances. In addition to Bassnectar, PAPER DIAMOND has toured alongside and supported such artists as Skrillex, Diplo, Zeds Dead, Excision, Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic and more.

Ticket are $17-20 and available here
