Jonesborough – The annual Celebration of Trees, an exhibit of decorated live Christmas trees, will be on display at Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center & Old Town Emporium Gift Shop.

Murfreesboro – Eight buildings will be featured on this year’s Candlelight Tour of Homes 4-8 p.m. beginning at the Oaklands Historic House Museum.
Huntingdon – A holiday extravaganza will take place 2-6 p.m. with activities like nativities on stage, chorus performances, pictures with Santa, carriage rides, and more during Main Street Christmas in downtown Huntingdon.
Knoxville – See Scott Hamilton and Friends on Ice with live musical performances by Christian group MercyMe 5 p.m. at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
Chapel Hill – Embark on “A Civil War Christmas Tour” which includes Carnton Plantation, the Franklin Candlelight Tour, the Athenaeum, the Maury County Christmas Tour and the Stones River Battlefield for the 150th anniversary of the Battle of the Cedars starting from Henry Horton State Park. Nashville – The Nashville Zoo received private funds to match the $10 million gift from City of Nashville so, to celebrate, patrons can get a buy-one-get-one admission plus free popcorn and hot chocolate at the Nashville Zoo.

Townsend – Travels will be told during “The Back and Beyond: Horace Kephart in the Smoky Mountains” presented by Arthur McDade 2 p.m. at the Great Smoky Mountain Heritage Center.
