Bradley County Man Arrested On Number Of Charges On Sunday

  • Sunday, November 2, 2014

A Bradley County man was arrested on a number of charges Sunday night.

Bradley County officers were dispatched to a stolen vehicle in progress call after the owner called 911, reporting Timothy Daniel Dunn had stolen his van.

Soon after, a van matching the description of the stolen vehicle was located in the area of Dalton Pike and McGrady Drive. As officers sought to perform a traffic stop, the van accelerated, almost striking another Bradley County patrol unit.

Dunn, 34, sought to evade Bradley County Sheriff’s officers, leading to a pursuit from McGrady Drive, Springplace Road, then to Keith Valley Road in the southern part of the county. Officers were able to stop the van driven by Dunn at that time, taking him into custody after he attempted to flee on foot, became combative and a taser was deployed.

Dunn was charged with theft over $1,000, felony evading, reckless endangerment, driving with a revoked license, third offense DUI, as well as other traffic offenses. He was booked into the Bradley County Jail.
