Margie Burnette Mull, 74, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014, in a local health care facility.
She was a lifelong resident of Bradley and Polk Counties. She was a member of First Baptist Church and worked for several years at Merchants Bank. She was a devoted wife, mother and sister and had a zest for living that always included laughter and smiles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewell and Lucille Green Burnette; one sister, Margaret Newman; and one brother, Glenn Burnette.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Mull of Cleveland; daughter, Kellye Elaine Mull of Cleveland; special friend, Stephanie Riddle of Cleveland; two sisters, Elaine Ward and husband John of Cleveland and Evelyn Scroggins of Plattsburgh, NY; one brother-in-law, Wendell Newman of Delano; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Hatcher officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19 in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony.
Her family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 18 at the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
