Charlsie Terry Lowery, 82 of Hixson, died on Sunday, October 26, 2014.

She was born in Stevenson, Al., to Charles and Dossie Thornton. Charlsie was retired from General Services Administration with over 20 years of employment. She was a member of Mountain Creek Church of Christ.  Charlsie loved her children, grandchildren and enjoyed spending time crafting, quilting, and painting. 

Charlsie was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald J. Terry and Roy Lowery; sister, “Polly” Elkins and niece, Candice Freeman.

She is survived by her son, John Terry and his wife Penny; daughter, Donna Webb and her husband Mike and daughter, Becky Terry; grandchildren, Trent Terry and Kirby Webb.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with Minister Gary Massey officiating.  Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses with Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and care given to Charlsie.    

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
