The Hunter Museum of American Art will host "Looking Closer at an Antebellum Portrait: The Whiteside Painting," featuring Dr. Fred Moffatt, professor emeritus of art at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and former Hunter Chief Curator Ellen Simak leading a gallery discussion on James Cameron's "Colonel and Mrs. James A. Registration is now open for Capture!, a unique community-sourced 48-hour film project led by AVA that encourages the community to come together to shoot, score, edit and enjoy a one-of-a-kind film perspective of our community.
