Christopher Smith Killed In Motorcycle Accident Thursday Night On Rossville Boulevard

Chattanooga Police responded to a traffic crash Thursday at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Rossville Boulevard where they found a 27-year-old motorcyclist, Christopher Smith, who had crashed and was pronounced dead on the scene.  

Witness statements and evidence at the scene show that Smith was northbound on Rossville Boulevard when he lost control and struck a concrete sign. 

There was possibly another motorcyclist who was racing with Smith who has not yet been located.  

Anyone with information on the other motorcyclist is asked to call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423 698-2525.
