Chickamauga Man, 24, Dies At Panama City Beach

The body of a 24-year-old Chickamauga, Ga., man was found floating in the water on Panama City Beach early Sunday morning.

He was identified as Kevin Lamar New, Jr.

The body was spotted around 6 a.m. behind Tropic Winds Condominiums on Front Beach Road where Mr. New had been fishing, the Panama City News-Herald reported.

He was given CPR, then taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His wife said he was prone to seizures, the newspaper report said.
