Donna Lee Dickson Azari, 51, of Chattanooga, went to be with Jesus on Monday, March 11, 2013.  

Donna spent most of her adult life in the Atlanta area as a medical assistant.  She later returned to her home in St. Elmo to live out the rest of her life.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed greatly by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Prudie L. and David Austin Bain; and uncle, David Austin Bain Jr.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Erica Azari Elayan and Khalil Elayan; granddaughter, Layla Hope Elayan; mother, Deloris Bain Dickson; father and step-mother, Sydney D. and Connie Dickson; sisters: Angela DeMarcus, Teresa Dickson Dampier, Cindy Dickson, all of Chattanooga; nieces, Jena Pinson and Kaitlyn DeMarcus; nephew, Jason L. Dickson; cousins, Ingrid Kim and Greta Bain; uncle and aunt, Don and Tressa Bain; and aunt, Beverly Bain, all of Texas.

A special thanks to Clyde and Mitzi Chandler from her family for all their help.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Dr. Steven Granger officiating.  

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.  

Visitation is from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
