Amber Levi scored a game-high 21 points and hit five 3s Friday night, leading Rhea County’s Lady Golden Eagles to a 73-31 win over the host Central Lady Pounders.
Levi scored 14 points and made four 3s in the first quarter. The Lady Golden Eagles led 50-9 at halftime.
Jessee Wallis scored 15 points and Julie Brown added 10 for Rhea County (11-3).
“We are talking to our team every day about consistency and with the district (6-AAA) schedule in front of us in January, it’s important that we start doing that now,” Rhea coach Shane Johnston said.
Sandrea Sylman led Central with 12 points and made two of the Lady Pounders’ three 3s.
