Frank Eaton
Frank Eaton, Democratic candidate for House District 27, has been elected interim president of the newly formed North Hixson Neighborhood Association.
A large number of residents turned out for the kickoff meeting, held Tuesday at the North River Civic Center. Mr. Eaton has been instrumental in organizing the new association.
“I’m very excited by the good turnout,” he stated. “Objection to the proposed Chattanooga Village project has generated a lot of interest in neighbors’ working together for a common cause.”
The candidate said grassroots causes such as these are key to his candidacy for the House seat as well.
“The incumbent has demonstrated that he has lost touch with the issues that people in this district care about on a day-to-day basis, the ones that truly make a difference in their lives,” Mr. Eaton stated.
A Hixson resident for 20 years, he is currently employed with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as a as a project manager. He attended Tennessee Temple University as an undergraduate, and has an associate of science nursing degree from Chattanooga State. His professional credits include positions as health resources coordinator for Provident Life and Accident, business analyst/project manager for Healthcare Provident, and consultant/project manager for Healthsource.
He is codes committee chairman for the Chattanooga Neighborhood Association Coalition, and a member of the Tennessee Voter Assistance Coalition and the Chattanooga Audubon Society.
