Rev. James Fulton Moore, 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Thursday, March 8, 2012.

Jim retired from the T.B.C. in 1999. He served as the Baptist Student Union director at UTC from 1979 – 1999 and as the BSU director at the University of New Orleans, La., and Nicholes State University, Thibodaux, La.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Petty Moore, three children, Susan Renée (Wes) Jones, Aimeé Michele (Mike) Burns, Bradley Fulton (Wendy Michelle) Moore, and five grandsons, Joshua (Morgan) Jones, Caleb (Jillian) Jones, Cameron Burns, Cory Burns, Tanner Moore.

Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Don Givens and Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1–4 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Baptist Collegiate Ministries at UTC.
