President Of Red Bank Elementary PTA Arrested On Charge Of Misuse Of Funds

The president of the Red Bank Elementary PTA has been charged with using PTA funds for personal use.  Arrested was Doris White (Mizzell), 29,  of 1046 Pineville Road.  

She is charged with fraudulent use of a credit card. 

Police said she was entrusted with PTA funds and she used a PTA debit card for $904.07 worth of personal expenses.  

She also took $180 cash from the petty cash fund, it was charged.  

Police said she told Haley Brown, the school principal, that use of the PTA money was "an accident."

She was given two weeks to repay the money and did not, it was stated.
