The City Council on Tuesday approved C-7 zoning for developer John Wise, who is planning a mixed-use development of offices and apartments on Cherokee Boulevard at the corner of Stringer Street. He had sought a zoning change from R-1 Residential, C-2 Convenience Commercial and O-1 Office Zones to C-7 North Shore Commercial/Mixed Use Zone. The site is less than an acre.
