Shock Theatre hits the road on Sep. 8 and will make an appearance at the Princess Theater in South Pittsburg. The Princess Theater is a newly remodled facility at 215 South Cedar Ave.
The show features a haunted world with classic and contemporary horror films, hosted by the neurotic ghoul Dr. Shock and his devilishly lovely sidekick Nurse Goodbody. Joining them is the mischievous prankster puppet Dingbat. The three exchange humorous banter and discuss facts drawn from horror and sci-fi films presented by the New Shock Theatre.
The Bride of Frankenstein, one of the all time great horror films, will be featured for two screenings. There will be two shows at 7 and 10 p.m. Admission will be $5 for kids under 12 and $10 for adults.
Concessions will be provided by the Princess Theatre with an array of candy, popcorn and sodas. Dress retro! Costumes are always welcomed. There will be drawings, prizes, trivia, comedy, trailers, classic horror and more.
This event is sponsored by Dixie Freeze and Chattanooga Ghost Tours.
