Rhonda Thurman Thanks Voters

Monday, August 06, 2012

I would like to thank the voters in District 1 for once again choosing me to be your voice on the Hamilton County School Board. I am honored and humbled to continue to be the District 1 representative. I promise to continue to demand accountability and insure our district's students receive their fair share of Hamilton County tax dollars.

I would also like to send a special thanks to family and friends who volunteered their time to put up signs, make phone calls, send out postcards, set up rallies and victory parties and sit out in the heat at polls on election day.

Another special thanks to individuals who called to request yard signs and businesses who posted my signs at their establishment.

Running for elected office is not easy and it takes many people to make it happen. So again, thanks.

Baylor Advances With 6-5 Thriller Over GPS In Softball

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- The last time Baylor and GPS played softball here at the Starplex, it was about a year ago and the Division II state championship was on the line.
