Densmore, Wanda Jean (Dalton)

Wanda Jean Densmore, 63, of Dalton, GA, died Thursday morning August 2, 2012 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones. 

Wanda was born February 7, 1949 in Valdosta, GA, a daughter of the late Nord W. Johnson and Omagene Whittle Johnson. Wanda was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother, and sister. 

She is survived by her husband, James Densmore of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Seth and Aruna Densmore of Calhoun, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Patrick Rollins of Dalton, Bria and J.D. Tiller of St. Maries, ID ; sister, Carla Deck of Dalton; sx grandchildren, Hunter Densmore, Trevor Rollins, Collin Densmore, Abigail Tiller, Gavin Tiller and Gideon Rollins; and several nieces and nephews. 

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Wanda Jean Densmore will be held Tuesday, August 7, at 1 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Patrick Rollins and Michael Smith officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel, who has charge of the arrangements, from 5-9 p.m. Monday August 6.
