Lucille Mason, 77, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at her residence. 

She was a member of Red Hill United Methodist Church where she was the former pianist and organist. For 20 years, she owned & operated Hair Fashions by Lucy located on Springplace Road. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Oscar L. Kaylor and Minnie Geren Kaylor; three sisters, Marie Hunt, Pauline Baldwin and Etta Gray; one brother, O.L. Kaylor Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Frances Mason. 

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Silas Mason of Cleveland; two sons, Charles Mason and Stan Mason both of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Richard Mason, Matthew Mason and Lacey Mason all of Cleveland; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Dot Hansard of Detroit, MI; one brother, L.H. Kaylor of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Mardy Hedayat. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 4, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Mason officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Mason, Stan Mason, Frank Mason, Matthew Mason, Mark Mason and Robert Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Brice Mason, Chase Mason, Lilly Mason, Kimberly Mason, Audrey Mason, and Blake Mason. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. 

Her family will receive friends Friday, August 3 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. 

The family suggests that memorials be made to Red Hill Cemetery c/o Virginia Holmes at 1333 Strawhill Rd SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
