Rhoda Ann Johnston, 51, of Dalton, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kendall W. Johnston; and mother-in-law, Betty J. Johnston.
She was a member of Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise.
She is survived by her daughter, April A. Johnston of Nashville; parents, Rev. Clayton and Nellie Faye Brown of Dalton; sister, Althia Moss of Dalton, sisters and brothers-in-law, Christy and LeeRoy Atkinson of Dalton and Tammy and Searcy Wildes of Brentwood, TN; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18, at 4 p.m. at the Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise with Rev. Dallas Parker and Rev. Robert Duke officiating. Burial will be at United Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tim Francis, Matthew Smith, Shane Bennett, Allen Hughey, Corey Ewing, Sherman Smith and Josh Smith.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, August 17 from 6-8 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Angel Wings Ministries 2344 Nutmeg Terrace, Baltimore, MD 21209 in honor of Rhoda Ann Johnston
