Theresa Andersson will be stopping in Chattanooga at Barking Legs Theatre on her upcoming fall tour. Her critically-acclaimed sophomore album, Street Parade, was released on Basin Street Records earlier this year to praise from The New York Times, USA Today, SPIN, and more.
Review for Theresa Andersson:
The Swedish-born songstress has been living in New Orleans for nearly 20 years, and Street Parade is a lush, joyful and sometimes melancholy ode to the city. A regular performer at Jazz Fest, Theresa not only performed on a main stage at this year's festival, but also debuted music from Street Parade live in NOLA's Mardi Gras parade, riding atop a giant bird float.
She is best known for her live show, where she crafts layers of drums, strings, and her soulful voice using looping pedals, a la Andrew Bird.
