James Darrell Bowlin, 66, of Cleveland, TN, died on Thursday, August 9, 2012. 

He was a well-respected owner of Darrell’s Stump Grinding before his retirement. He was a faithful member of Big Spring United Methodist Church and an avid golfer. 

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Phillips Bowlin; his daughter and son-in-law, Alecia and Bill Hagberg; daughter and son-in-law, Brittney and Matthew Hamilton; grandchildren, Ben Hagberg, Madelyn Hagberg, Maryellen Hagberg, Clark Hamilton and Adra Hamilton; brothers, Glenn Bowlin, Buddy Bowlin and Terry Bowlin; and many extended family members, golf friends, business associates and church family. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 11, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Lyle White officiating. Interment will follow in Red Hill Church Cemetery. 

His family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August  at the Ralph Buckner Funeral home who has charge of the arrangements.

Williamson, Betty Faye (Copperhill)

Betty Faye Williamson, 54, of Copperhill, died on May 16, 2013.  She was born in Salisbury, N..,C and raised in Chattanooga. She worked at Animal Clinic East for 12 years and was a big animal lover. Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
