He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and of the Christian faith. Jr. retired from Teddy Jenkins Construction. He enjoyed the outdoors, collecting old antiques of the past but most of all he Jr. enjoyed raising his many animals on his farm. Survivors include his daughter, Diane Beene Laymon; son, Richard (Paula) Beene; sisters, Bet Sutherland and George Ann Anderson; brother, Maurice Beene; best friend and love, Frances Tennyson; grandchildren, Jana and Johnny Laymon, Chris and Michelle Beene; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
