Dr. Kohrt said, “Today the health care of children is more challenging than ever. Pediatric practices are faced with more immunizations, more preventive screenings, more children with complex, chronic conditions and a health care system that is very difficult to navigate. And we must provide care that is safer, more effective and more efficient. In the midst of all of the challenges, the real joy of pediatrics is still the children and families; helping parents raise healthy children. I am humbled and honored to be a pediatrician and especially to be counted among the remarkable advocates and pediatricians being recognized by the Tennessee Chapter of the AAP.”
