Fermentation guru and author Sandor Katzwill be speaking about his new book, The Art of Fermentation, with a tasting to follow on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Velo Coffee.
Guests may bring a fermented food to share, including (but not limited to) pickles, kimchi, kefirs, yogurt, sauerkraut, wine, beer, kombucha, or miso.
Slowfood Chattanooga will provide other fermented treats, including Chattanooga Sourdough by Niedlov's Bakery, cured meats from Link 41, artisinal cheeses from Sequatchie Cove Creamery, and Velo's coffee.
