Ruritan Club's All Candidates Rally To Host 20 Candidates

Twenty candidates are scheduled to attend the All Candidates Rally, on Saturday, from 5-8 p.m. at the Harrison Ruritan Club, 5709 Tyner Lane, next to Harrison Elementary School.  The fish fry will begin at 5 p.m., and candidates may “meet and greet” until 6 p.m. when the candidates will be allowed to speak.

Traffic Signal At 3700 Block Of Ringgold Road Under Construction On Monday

Federal Agents Seize Almost $6.8 Million From Bank Accounts Of Physician; Says He Has Submitted False Medicare Claims

Federal authorities have seized almost $6.8 million from bank accounts of an area physician. They said Dr. Raymond Sean Brown has submitted false Medicare claims. Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Man Who Is On Tennessee Sex Offender Registry

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
