Lookout Valley's Farmer Signs With Hiwassee Soccer

Lookout Valley's Tshombe T. Farmer has signed to play soccer at Hiwassee College.

“I am very excited to be signing Tshombe to play for Hiwassee College. His skills and athletic abilities will be a huge asset to the team,'' Hiwassee coach Dustin Debty said.

Farmer is honored to be playing college soccer, especially at Hiwassee College. Said Farmer, “I never thought I would ever get to play a college sport so I fell like this is an honor to have this opportunity!”

Farmers parents are happy their son will be playing for Hiwassee College. Tshombe’s mother, Nakia Farmer Mathis, said, “We are very proud of our son. We feel this will be a great experience for him.”

Hiwassee College will be holding open soccer tryouts this Saturday, June 23 at 12:00 p.m. For additional information, interested parties may contact Dustin Debty at 423-519-7179 or email him at soccer@hiwassee.edu.

Hiwassee College is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA), and plays in the Mid-East Region. Rogers, 20, Shot Twice While Standing On His Porch
