The grandchildren of Rosa Linville (Mrs. Chris), from Hixson, gathered their friends to provide a fund-raiser to benefit RSD, an auto-immune disease.  Invitations were given to neighbors and friends to attend the Lemonade -Snow Cone RSD Benefit on Thursday.  Sales were brisk and successful and funds were sent to the RSD Foundation.

Mrs. Rosa Linville has lived with the disease saying: “I never stop hurting, from head to foot; and as much as I love a hug, they hurt.”

A writing by Mrs. Linville:  “It’s only letters to most – but we who have the disease don’t boast; It causes swelling and burning too; the pain is endless and doesn’t choose who.  It’s hard to watch the ones you love, to see the pain in their eyes - because its no surprise; they hurt with you and want to help, they and the Lord sincerely care, and keep you going with their love and prayers.  Friends and family are great, and with all their love we’ll beat the wait. Soon we’ll be free of this pain and hate of RSD.”
