Winner Of Chattanooga St. Jude Dream Home Is Mary Makooi

Mary Makooi of Chattanooga was announced as grand-prize winner of a newly built home valued at approximately $300,000 during the sixth St. Jude Dream Home giveaway in Chattanooga. The winning ticket was pulled from 6,814 tickets during the live St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway special on WRCB Channel 3 at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Ms. Makooi’s prize house is in the Georgetown Bay subdivision near Ooltewah. It was built by Pratt Homebuilders with support from JHP Contractors, Shaw Floors, Brizo, and various suppliers and housing subcontractors.  WRCB Channel 3 crew members drew the winners of 14 other prizes after the live special, including a $1,000 gift card, courtesy of AirSystems Unlimited, a two-night stay in a penthouse suite at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, Fla., and many more.

The St. Jude Dream Home giveaway raised $681,400 for research and treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
