CNE Encourages Professional Development To Better Assist Its Clients In The Community

Nick Wilkinson, Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise, Inc. director of development, earned the certificate of graduation from the National Community Development Lending School.

The National Community Development Lending School offers detailed training on the practice of community development lending from a faculty of experienced finance professionals and is presented biennially by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Other sponsors of the National Community Development Lending School include the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and the U.S. Department of Treasury, Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.

Mr. Wilkinson, a native of Chattanooga, has served as CNE’s director of development since October 2010. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he has more than a decade of development experience.

CNE was created in 1986 to provide decent, fit and affordable house for all in the Chattanooga area. That mission continues 26 years later as the organization strives to build and sustain livable neighborhoods by promoting and preserving homeownership, making affordable loans, working in partnership with like-missioned organizations and encouraging neighborhood engagement and revitalization.
