Lillian N. Chambers, 69, of Ooltewah, died on Friday, June 22, 2012 in a local hospital.  

She was born July 12, 1942 in Ooltewah. 

Lillian was a member of Ooltewah United Methodist Church.

Her mother, Kathleen Norton preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Jerry Chambers, Sr.; two sons, Robert Jerry Chambers, Jr. and his wife, Connie of Ooltewah; Terry Bryan Chambers and his wife, Cyndi of Ringgold; father, Clifford Norton of East Brainerd; five grandchildren, Ashley Stone, Hunter Chambers, Logan Chambers, Kinsey Chambers, Kalyn Chambers; two great-grandchildren, Reese and Grayson; one brother, Johnny Norton and his wife Shanda of Cleveland; one sister, Margaret Hayes and her husband, Wayne of Ooltewah; four nephews, Ronnie Norton, Greg Shaw, Bartlee Norton and Tony Stevens; and five nieces, Debbie Jenkins, Sandra Knight, Teresa Thomas, Amanda Owens, and Misty Rogers. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, at 1 p.m. in the Valley View Chapel. Burial will follow at Ooltewah Cemetery with Ricky Holland, Berri McCulley, George Longmire, Billy Weatherford, Michael Thomas, and Jerry Holland serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 25, from 4-9 p.m. and Tuesday, June 26, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, Tn.
