Joe DeGaetano Will Make An Excellent Judge

Thursday, June 21, 2012

I will be voting for Joe DeGaetano for Hamilton County Sessions Court judge when early voting begins on July 13.  I hope you’ll join me in casting your vote for Joe as well, whether through early voting or on election day on Aug. 2.

I’ve known Joe for several years.  We both have young children.  We are both raising our children in neighborhoods where crime has ticked up over the years and is now a constant topic of conversation.  Joe shares my concerns about crime and community and wants to work to move this county forward.

Happily, I haven’t needed an attorney during my eight years in Chattanooga.  When I do, Joe will be the first person I call because I trust and respect him.  I know Joe to be a bright, experienced attorney with a sharp mind and a measured demeanor.  He has experience in criminal and civil cases, state and federal courts and has worked in the legal community across the state.  He will make an excellent judge.

Join me in voting for Joe for Hamilton County Sessions judge.

I find it fitting that it was reported as a “new pact” and the perks received by the state and county although increased still doesn’t come close to the $6.20 that goes to the well-connected people of EnviroTest. The ... (click for more)
