Walter Jackson White, 82, of Rossville, died on Thursday, November 5, 2009. He was born in Chattanooga to the late Thomas and Marietta White. Walter served his country in WWII, in the U.S. Army Paratroopers, and received a Purple Heart. He retired from Crane Co. after 40 years of service as an inspector.
