Woman Suing Aquarium For $1 Million After Vomit Spill
posted August 1, 2005

A woman is suing the Tennessee Aquarium after she said she fell on a slick spot when someone vomited outside a restroom.

The Circuit Court suit was filed by Evelyn Rebecca George and her husband, Allen George, of Stockton, Ga.

Mrs. George said she had just seen a movie at the Aquarium's IMAX Theatre and had gone to the restroom.

She said she fell when exiting the restroom.

The suit says she was told by IMAX employees that they were waiting for someone to come clean it up.

The suit asks $500,000 compensatory damages and $500,000 punitive damages.

It was filed by attorney Joseph Warwick of the McMahan Law Firm.
