Bill Holmberg, of Elder Mountain, died Tuesday morning.
Mr. Holmberg was the husband of Ruth Holmberg, former publisher of the Chattanooga Times.
The Holmbergs were recently honored when the new pedestrian bridge leading to the Hunter Museum was named in their honor.
Mr. Holmberg was an official of the New York Times. He came here as general manager of the Chattanooga Times.
